The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association UK (AMEA UK) and its associated charity, Charity Walk for Peace (CWFP), are pleased to announce the 2019 East Surrey Poppy Appeal Campaign Launch from its largest Mosque in Western Europe in Morden, Surrey.
This year, and to match last years achievements, AMEA & CWFP are looking to raise a staggering £500,000 for the Poppy Appeal by selling poppies door to door; through stalls at local supermarkets and through many awareness campaigns at local, regional and national events.
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Elders Association UK’s Poppy Appeal campaign is linked to its annual Charity Walk for Peace where hundreds of thousands of pounds are raised for UK charities every year. To date, AMEA & CWFP Poppy Appeal has raised an incredible £850,000 through hundreds of man-hours by its members volunteering across the UK.
